December 2008: I was invited by London’s Tate Museum to direct and shoot a collection of videos for their original series TateShots. Issue 19 features eight of New York City’s leading mainstream artists, including Jeff Koons, Marina Abramovic, Lawrence Weiner, and Marcel Dzama.
For the 100th episode in the series, I documented Blonde Redhead drummer Simone Pace, as he rides from the East Village garage where he stores his collection of vintage Italian motorcycles to the band’s recording studio in Brooklyn.
More highlights from the Cool Hunting series can be viewed under the “Documentary” drop-down here.
